A visit to the pumpkin patch

We were invited by another couple, who has 3-year-old boy-girl twins, to join them in an adventure at the Clayton pumpkin patch. What an adventure…The drive was twice that of what we normally drive to go to Moore’s Pumpkin Patch in Castro Valley. No problem, though, ’cause we got some great pics.

The potty diaries – October 13, 2010

I am not sure if we are jinxing ourselves by starting the diary this soon, but today Matteo said, “pee-pee”, which honestly I wasn’t sure if that meant he had to go to the potty. We haven’t really been taking him regularly; on occasion, we sit him down on the toilet, usually at bath time. [...]

What a big mouth you have

A few days ago, the boys and I made pasta with broccoli and chicken in a red sauce – actually, I made the dinner, they watched. While we were eating, I was twirling the spaghetti around the tines of my fork, and Christopher commented on the rather large size of the bite. Before I could [...]

Go Giants!

On Wednesday, Christopher, Mike and I joined our friends, Duffy and Alec for an afternoon game at the Giants ballpark for a game against the Marlins. I must say that Christopher enjoyed his first adventure to the ballpark. Mike and I enjoyed watching him. We took many photos, so here are a few of those… [...]

Are we there yet?

Yesterday, Christopher and I took David to Great America for his 10th birthday. We had such a great time. The funniest part was hearing Christopher say, “Are we there yet?” at least 10 times before we got on the freeway! [st]

I’m not lying

During Mike’s parents’ visit, we had a tough time getting Christopher to bed. To be expected, he was very excited to see his Nana and Pop-pop. In fact, the day they departed for home, Christopher got very upset. I digress, however. When Mike’s parents arrived, we gave them our room, which is on the main [...]

Happy Father’s Day!

Mike and I enjoyed our Father’s Day with the boys. We started by going to our favorite breakfast restaurant in Oakland, followed by a walk along the Jack London Square’s farmer’s market. We picked up a few vegetables and fruits, some of which we planned to take to our friends Kai and Michael’s house for [...]

Hola

In my last post, I forgot to mention that as we headed to the store, Christopher was saying “hello” to passers-by. Then, all of a sudden, as we heard a woman speaking Spanish to her children, Christopher, out of the blue, says, “¡Hola!” Amazing…

Momma

Monday, June 7th, Christopher, Matteo and I met Mommy Sara for lunch. We spent about an hour together catching up on Matteo’s milestones and listening to Mommy’s new adventures since our last visit. During our visit, Matteo turned to Mommy and said, “Momma, Momma.” I hesitated to see Mommy’s response. Though I was afraid she [...]

“Excuse me, Daddy. Where are we going?”

On Saturday, after the boys had awakened from their naps, and Daddy had returned from his day of leisure, Dad, Daddy and the boys hopped into the car to head to Peet’s for afternoon coffee and a snack. While getting into the car, Christopher emphatically stated that he wanted to get his cookie from La [...]
