Even though we adopted our second son, Matteo, in March, we continue to monitor our site statistics. Frankly, I want to see how popular we are. Well, I was shocked to see that visits to our website and/or blog continue to drop since March. I guess I will just have to do better at posting more…or posting more interesting blogs!
I think you should write what’s on your minds and hearts. If that gets readers then cool if not then it should still be cool. Don’t change who you are or open yourself up more than you want to to attract readers. I do admit knowing that others read and enjoy my blog makes it satisfying. I find your blog interesting, but more in the normal family sense of way. There is no exciting waiting for you to adopt kind of thing to the blog anymore. As a birth Mom I like to read more about the openness of the adoption. But it’s not a deal breaker if I read or not. Unless of course, you went on and on about why you want a close adoption.. then it might be a sore subject for me. Your kids are very cute, I just love seeing new pictures of them.
Just like to say I hope you continue to keep posting. I enjoy reading and seeing family pics even though I just happened to find this blog through others.

We definitely do NOT want closed adoptions. We don’t feel that they are good for anyone involved. However, we have not heard from one mom despite our attempts to reach her. We hope she comes around for the sake of our son…
